September 2019 Prayer Letter – One Year Anniversary

One Year Anniversary

Dear Praying Friends and Faithful Supporters,    September 12, 2019

It’s hard to believe that we have been in Romania for an entire year. We remember counting down the days to our eventual departure, having our Pastor and his wife drive us to the airport in Indianapolis, and then having Brother Catalin pick us up at the airport in Bucharest. I can share this testimony that we have not looked back glory to God. We’ve kept our hands to the plow this past year here in Romania. It’s been full of blessings, challenges, trials, and victories.

We are now getting adapted to a new language teacher. She is a tremendous blessing. She is taking both of us to new levels with learning the Romanian language.

Just yesterday we had to get a physical done to qualify for our driver’s license here. Both Karie and I passed with flying colors on our hearing, sight, and coordination. Again we praise the Lord for this.

We want to thank each of you for your love, prayers, financial support, encouraging emails, letters, notes, Facebook messages to us, and the list goes on. This brings much joy to us.

For this next anniversary year our prayer requests are for many more souls to be saved, as well as for the Church here to be strengthened in both faith in the Lord and His Word. We continue to ask prayers as well for Cristina’s House. The Lord has really blessed this past year in the construction work.  We ask each of you to continue to pray for the funds needed to complete both Phase 2 and Phase 3.

We also would ask continued prayers for learning and mastering the language. We praise the Lord for all the opportunities that He gives us with learning the language and using it to glorify His name in witnessing opportunities. We love each of you and want to thank each of you for your partnership with us to reach Romania for the Lord. God bless you all.
